COSAL’s 4th Annual Leadership and Diversity Summit

Join us on October 8 in San Francisco for COSAL’s 4th Annual Leadership and Diversity Summit, a dynamic, one-day event bringing together leaders from across the plaintiffs’ antitrust bar to explore the intersections of leadership, diversity, and advocacy. Designed for attorneys at every career stage, this year’s Summit features a series of engaging panels that offer practical strategies for advancing both the profession and its people.

The day will begin with “Leadership Opportunities Throughout the Litigation Lifecycle,” where experienced panelists will discuss how young attorneys can take ownership at key stages of a case—from investigation through discovery, motion practice, and resolution. In “DEI in 2025,” we’ll take a closer look at the evolving landscape of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession and reflect on both progress and persistent challenges. Next, “Public-Private Partnerships in Antitrust Enforcement” will examine the collaborative dynamic between government enforcers and private litigants, with perspectives from both sectors. We’ll conclude with “Finding and Becoming Allies,” a candid conversation about building meaningful support systems within and beyond the antitrust bar. Panelists will explore the nuanced roles of mentors, coaches, allies, and sponsors, and how each contributes to fostering a more inclusive legal community.

Whether you're a seasoned litigator or an emerging leader, this Summit offers a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and lead with purpose.

Invitations are extended to women, attorneys of color, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and other underrepresented members of the plaintiffs’ antitrust bar, as well as individuals committed to learning about allyship and strengthening their capacity to support others. Each law firm may nominate up to three attorneys to attend the Summit. We ask that two of the three nominations be reserved for underrepresented members of the antitrust community. Attendance is limited and will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis, with preference given to first-time attendees.

If you would like to suggest attorneys from your firm for an invitation, please send their names and email addresses to Sarah Frey at sfrey@cosal.org by June 25. Invitations will be issued in early July. Please refrain from nominating colleagues from other firms.
