COSAL Honors Jonathan Kanter with Inaugural Champion of Economic Justice Award

Members of COSAL from across the country gathered in Washington, D.C., on November 5 for a gala dinner celebrating COSAL's 39th year.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the inaugural COSAL Champion of Economic Justice Award to Jonathan Kanter.

As Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, Jonathan led the Division through a pivotal period in competition policy-one defined by a renewed commitment to ensuring that markets remain open, fair, and competitive. His leadership helped reshape how we think about antitrust in the digital economy and reaffirmed the essential role of the law in promoting innovation and opportunity.

Today, he continues to be a leading voice in national and global discussions on competition policy-bringing sharp insight, deep experience, and a steadfast dedication to the public good.

Thank you to all COSAL members who joined us.
